I have been trying to keep up with crafting, but of course family comes first and I have to put it on the back burner until I find some free time to craft. I found sometime on the weekend and finally decided to do a wedding layout. It has been sitting at the dinner table for a couple of weeks. I had no idea what to do, every time I would go sit down to work on it, I felt so uninspired. Just this last weekend I told myself I had to get it done or else it will sit there for another couple of weeks. Of course I am the type of person to not move on to the next project until I am done the project I am working on. I find these days that when I work on multiple things, I tend to forget that I have a project half done somewhere in my mess. Anyways here are some photos of the layout. Enjoy! Pictures courtesy of my hubby!
Products used Prima Marketing Fabric and Paper flowers and vine, Silhouette Cameo wedding bells die cut, Stampendous Shabby Embossing Powder in white, Pink Paislee banner, Viva Décor Pearl Pen Ice White, Recollections Crystals, Liquitex Light Molding Paste, Gesso, Venice Lace, Cabochon flower, Recollection bird stickers and miscellaneous products.

Just Sharing Stuff Done A While Back
Just wanted to share some of the things that I think are worth sharing. These are pieces that I worked on a while back.
This is an art journal page done using Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, Dylusion stamps, Christy Tomlinson stamps, Stencils by Dyan Reaveley and Crafters Workshop and miscellaneous stamps. Love the Lindy's sprays, vibrant colours.
Tag using Julie Nutting Doll Stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, American Crafts flowers and miscellaneous items. Love cutting the dolls dress out of patterned paper. It reminds me of playing with paper dolls when I was a kid. Cannot wait to do more, since I have her other doll stamps and hoping to get a hold of her next set coming out this month.
With this page I used The Crafter's Workshop stencil with molding paste. Little roses are from a pack I bought from Michaels for like fifty cents and I just colored them with some Dylusion inks. The butterflies are from a Jenni Bowlin set of stickers I had. The window frame and vines were all cut using my Silhouette Cameo.
Note to self: Next time write down all the products used!
"NEW BEGINNINGS!"
Wowzers! This is a big step for me. Blogging! Really I am going to start blogging. I've been thinking that I should do something fun and I think this is it. I have decided to blog about my hobby, crafting.
Honestly, I am afraid to post my work anywhere online, but I just started recently posting on Facebook and thought to myself "Why not start a blog of my own to showcase my work? Why hide it? Sharing would be fun and I like to hear what others have to say about my work. I could use the commentaries to improve upon my work!" I hope crafting for fun would grow into something bigger and open up opportunities.
I've had this idea of someday doing something with my craft work, but don't think I am good enough yet, still in the learning stages. What the heck! Let's give it a shot! What can go wrong, right?! My goal is to try to blog at least once a week for now. Just trying to keep organize these days with two kids is just too tiring for me. I use to be this organizational freak, but I seem to be losing that skill as I grow older. Maybe blogging will keep me on my toes...lol!!! Right!
For those of you who will join me on my journey...hope you enjoy the ride! Phew...here goes nothing!
